Subject title: Who knows form, light, folds and manga stylization? Help plz

Hello there,

I'm in search of a teacher. A teacher who knows form and can help me improve in this subject. I'm currently working on a character turn around and I'm not happy with it, because I have no idea of how folds fall and therefore change the form of the cloth. I just make it up as I go along. If somebody is out there who can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Spoiler: show

I know you're looking for a mentor, but in case you can't find one, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to teach yourself with resources.

Folds: ... adley.html ... RanOpes1nA

Light/shading: ... 23462tQzBg

Cel-shading(in case you prefer that for manga over painting): ... -131988415 - Theory behind the shapes(the guy isn't that great himself, but the tutorial looks comprehensive and accurate to me at a glance) ... -145082508 - Technique

On a side note, remember that manga is based on real life(like most styles), so anything thing you learn from studying life can be applied to the style you're working in as well, it's just a matter of how you want to apply it that's the tricky part.
