Can you post the reference / stillshot of Kobe Tai that you used?

You should try fixing those errors you see. Also, not sure what type of brushes ArtRage has, but I'd paint with the simplest brush its got for a good while, make sure it's something you have no problem getting large areas of flat tone with. The one you're using looks like it auto-smudges, if that's the case it's probably gonna take you extra time to get used to not "infecting" your value groups with it. You don't want to be learning your tools at the same time you're learning to draw, it just leads to more frustration.

I don't think you would see that much of a denture on the cheek. Also, some of the edges look kind of jagged, you might want to refine the shapes through a lasso tool.
