Trying to copy some artists I follow on instagram. I usually copy from photos, rather than other artists, so thats something new for me :) I will have to do some more of that

Thanks guys, if you like it you may wanna check out Jorge Jimenez, as he is the artist I was copying :) As for the art studies, I think I once heard someone (I think Synix, but not sure) saying that to grow quickly as an artist you should first learn from reality, and then copy a lot from other artists. The reason behind that is, that if you will start from copying other artists you will not understand why they make some decisions (like simplifications) and in the process you will just become a poor version of them. But, yeah, I probably took it too literally, and I should mix studying reality with studying other artists ;)

As for drawing, here is some stuff from imagination. Faces got a little better, although they are still kind of wonky

Stuff from imagination

Image

I also started drawing wih brush pen. I actually have bought it like a year ago, but every time I tried to use it I failed miserably, I just couldnt go directly to ink. For some reason now it seems I can do it. Its nothing great, but Im still happy about it ;)

Nice job with the clothing study. You use just enough lines to indicate folds.

I also like your face studies too. You do very well drawing each feature of the face. I would only say that the faces could be a little more structured as some features seem a bit off.

Other than that, your work is coming a long great.
I too mainly draw girls.

And clothed:

There are some unnecessary folds in few places, nevertheless I am quite happy with the result

I really like your brush-stokes and how they vary in size. It makes your drawings feel very dynamic.
We have DID (the thing Sycra has).

Quick summary of forum writers:
Artist: she is mainly the one who draws.
Writer: he is usually the one who writes on the forum.
Lawyer: he studies everything, honestly.
Real names are private.
