Subject title: Japanese Stylized Sketch

Hello,

I have worked on this drawing for a couple of days and would like to have some opinions about what can be improved and so on. My aim with this was a simple pose from a common viewing angle, I was mainly concerned with simplicity.

Comments on what can be worked on are much appreciated,

What stands out to me is the cel shading is off/seems random. Where is the light source coming from?

You are right, I did randomly block in the cel-shading. I don't have much experience with lighting/shading so I focused on where I thought the cast shadows will be, don't know how well I executed that though. I just did it the way it appealed to me at the time, didn't really focus much on shading at all as much as I did on the figure itself. I'd like to think that the lighting is coming from the middle of the character.
