The first guy is missing clavicles, nipples, and a belly button; his head is also too small for his body, and his trapezius is very underdeveloped for a guy who seems pretty fit otherwise. The second guy is like 10 heads tall which is crazy; the average person is 7.5 heads tall, but "ideally" they'd be 8 heads tall. Most of the forms in all your paintings appear pretty flat, which is probably a result of there being no real clear cut light source in any of them. Finally, your perspective is off here and there in your last paintings, but overall it's not too bad; I like the ideas behind them.

Anyways, Feng's school huh? That's really cool, I wish I could go. Were you already accepted, or are you just saying you going to try to get in 7 months from now?

It really depends on where you project the top of the head to be, but unless he has a super long head then yeah, it's definitely more than 8.

As for your new piece, it has the same problem as before with the flat forms(they're a little better though). Your light source is also confusing, the rim lights and background suggest the light is coming from behind him from the left, but his cast shadow suggests it's coming from in front of him from the left. There could be multiple light sources, however that would create 2 cast shadows that overlap each other.

I recommend you study lighting if you haven't already, a really good resource is the PSG Art Tutorial found here: http://androidarts.com/art_tut.htm

i sort of went with the "tradition" and put his eyes halfway up his head... not that it matters, what matters is, you look at the figure and go "huh? too tall!" thats all that counts at the end of the day...
