I can see that you need to take care of your shading tone abit like for example the shading in your portarits are almost one tone not including the cheecks wich is fine....You need to practice on shading more by controling your hand pressure on the paper. I yet practice controlling my shading tone by assembling objects and apply light effect to it,then start recongnize the light and shade on it. just start simple then you can go for muscle defintion.
The first step to successful pencil shading is to control the movement of your pencil, making sure that every mark you make on the paper works towards creating the shading or modeling effect that you want and thats apply to your figure drawing,your propotion is abslutly fine it's just the shading your need to worry about.You can check out Sycra vid If you haven't seen it,It has great infomation in it....
