Subject title: Top ten anime series

Nope, it's over for now (manga is still ongoing though).
There are three seasons (201, 51 and 13 episodes), two movies (Benizakura-hen recap and original one) and several OVAs. Two more OVAs will be released soon.

Yeah, animation is f. dope! The first episode.. that little fight I've already felt it how f. amazing will it be :D
Still didn't watch pass the 3rd episode. Keeping them for "down-hours".. as a booster xD

1. hunter x hunter
2. attack on titan
3. death note
4. parasyte
5. one piece
6. 7 deadly sins
7. dragon ball z
8. yu yu hakusho
9. fate/stay night
10. bleach

btw this is just my opinion, and yes im a massive hxh fanboy, but people just label others as fanboys just because they enjoy a series over every other series, which is dumb imo. btw death parade only had 3 episodes but it has potential to be my number 3 or 2 if it keeps up the same quality.

1 Kiseijuu: Sei No Kakaritsu (Parasyte: The Maxim)
2 Another
3 Deathnote
4 Bleach
5 Hamatora The Animation (The sequel Re: Hamatora as well)
6 Kill la Kill
7 Buddy Complex
8 Tokyo Ghoul (The sequel Root A as well)
9 Noragami
10 Pupa (I know the anime was bad but the manga was so good i at least had to mention it)

I know I cant remember most of the anime I wanted in the list but I guess I could always edited it when i remember. If I could go past this list the I would mention Mushishi, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Terra Formars and Nanatsu No Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins)

4. IGPX
5. Ghost in the Shell

Gonna stick with current series so that I don't pick too many favorites from the classics (because many of my favorite anime. . . I couldn't choose between).

1. Kekkai Sensen (hands down. love this show. Also known as Blood Blockade Battlefront)
2. Gintama
3. Fate/Stay Night: UBW
4. Ore monogatari (can't stop smiling while watching it. I tried)
5. Owari No Seraph
6. Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (occasionally cliche, but still a fun ride. It's unpredictable which is what I like).
7. I can't understand what my husband is saying
8. Food Wars (it's. . . strange, sometimes, but has it's merits)
9. Nisekoi (I'm up to date with the manga so, not too hyped about this, but it's nice seeing the pages in motion)
10. Arslan Senki

No particular order, and honestly I could be forgetting some:

Revolutionary girl Utena
Madoka Magica
Another
Panty and Stocking
Paranoia Agent
Evangelion
Lucky Star
Higurashi
Cowboy Bebop
I Can't Understand What My Husband's Saying (I think that's the full title, anyway)

Series that would make it the top of this list if they were anime and not manga:

Oyasumi Punpun
Ano Hana
Umineko (haven't read the visual novel; on the manga's 6th episode, it's SO LONG)
Bakuman (haven't watched it's anime adaption, heard it's not v good)
I want to be your princess.

Ryuukishi07 is a freaking graphomaniac, and his VNs are, like, hundred times longer than manga adaptations. I have never done it past first episodes of Umineko and Higurashi because of that, which is a pity cause I really like them.
Bakuman adaptation is ok, it's just that manga is too awesome :)

Visual novels in general are ridiculous in length. The shortest one I know of, the one I read, is Saya no Uta, and it took way longer to read then a book. But R07 also writes so thick with detail that it's hard to read for too long, so that adds on to it all. The Umineko manga series is supposed to be a very faithful adaptation from everyone I've talked to, and in some cases much clearer about answers. It's...so amazing to read, I swear.
And yeah--I don't think any adaptation could really capture the magic the way the manga did.

Well, I've read the two first episodes of Umineko manga, but decided to take a break after that. I thought they had pretty good storytelling, but what they lacked is that awesome atmosphere from the VNs. It's always a hard choise what to read when it comes to R07 or Type-moon :)

Haven't seen that much anime, so this are more or less just the ones I've seen. The order isn't that exact, either, the only thing I know is: Steins;Gate is a masterpiece, the first ones are the coolest and the last ones are "eh, I ran out of series, sadly".

1: Steins;Gate (I AM MAD SCIENTIST, IT'S SO COOOOOL sonuvabitch).
2: No Game No Life.
3: Hellsing.
4: Higurashi no naku koro ni (and Umineko no naku koro ni, but I didn't finish that one, damn).
5: Elfen Lied.
6: Deadman Wonderland.
7: Angel Beats.
8: Mirai Nikki.
9: Serial Experiments Lain.
10: First arc of Bleach and maybe the second (That was awesome... and the started to get "meh").

This really isn't in any particular order since I liked all of these shows a lot for different reasons

1. Madoka Magica
2. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (One of these is not like the others~)
3. Angel Beats
4. Yatterman Night
5. Kyoukai no Kanata
6. Maria The Virgin Witch
7. Kodomo No Jikan
8. Card Captor Sakura
9. Kin-iro Mosaic
10. Puchimas!: Petit IdolM@ster

Honorable Mention: Claymore, it'd be way up there if the anime was like the manga at all.

I really need to watch more anime especially since I have this...growing list.
