Hi, my name is Jessica (21), and I am a brand new learning artist. At a young age, I've always wanted to work for any animation studio but was never supported, so I never practiced. But now that I am on my own I would like to continue to pursue that career. I know it will be hard, but I eventually would like to be a storyboard artist or do any preproduction art such as concept design. I went to the Art Institute of Inland Empire for about two years then had to drop out due to it being extremely expensive for me on my own to pay, and as of right now I am just doing small doodles, but not improving since I am not sure what direction I need to go in. I try not to focus on anime style but more of a cartoonish/realist approach, mixed with cultural references from anime.
Some of my inspirations come from Shilin, Webang111, Kibbitzer, Littleulvar, Tinceck-Marincek, Reveriesky, and other similar artists.
I am currently using a Wacom Intuous and Sai (I had Photoshop for a bit, but I couldn't afford it after awhile). And I am willing to earn critiques, listen to any advice, and do any video chatting to grow. I hope to be eventually a proper member of this community!
