good artists to do studies from?

i've been trying to get better at painting and i've noticed i do alot better for myself after doing copies off of artists i admire. what are artists you like to study from? links to blogs and anything relevant would be rad :D

I really love the way Ahmed beiruthi paints, and his style is amazing to me. I think you'd like him

You might begin with the Hudson River School Painters, but there are a lot more, i personally like Cole, Bierstadt, Church and Moran the most.
