Subject title: Art frustration

Hi everybody. I used to post here regularly from a different profile and was keeping a sketchbook thread 2-3
years ago. At that time I was 10th grade or so.Even though at the time my art sucked I was enjoying the hell out of it and the process itself and updating my sketchbook regularly and so on.
Now I'm 20,almost 21 and my art is light years ahead and i'm studying in art school and chasing the dream ... at least my younger self would have thought so. The truth is that I'm frustrated with art every single day. And it's not that I'm frustrated because I think I suck or something like that. At some point I just stopped caring about creating art in general. The whole process became so boring and tedious and overall uninspiring. Also I just don't see myself In 10-20-30 years doing the same thing over and over.I think that art was a important part of my life for a period of time when I needed escapism and now that period is over . Also I don't fell that depressed or something like that.

Stop doing things you don't care about then. Or find the beauty and interest in the things that seem boring from their outset

If you don't think it's for you, then it's not for you, nothing wrong with that. Go figure out what you love to do.
