Look, the only way to add details is simply from observation. One can say also from a "visual library", but that's just observation of the past stored in memory. Any person that wants to paint the details of say a mountain will either have to be standing by a mountain in life, or will have to acquire photographic references of it. People do not draw realistic details from imagination, it simply does not work that way.
