The second one, but only because of composition/more interesting image. They are pretty much the same style outside of the use of color and some use of a textured brush in the second. I dont really think these are a choose one situation, its more just keep making stuff like this, and improve situation.

I'd recommend the first one. It's straight forward, and looks more professional. Plus it's a red head, and I like redheads

The problem with the second one is that god awful ugly rough background texture, and the face looks messy. The first one looks prettier because the textures seem a little bit smoother.

These are in the same style.
What is anyone here talking about?
...

Ones black and white and ones in color.
One is a little more finished, and one uses some different brushes.
The style is the same though...
lol

If you dont believe me, take the colored one, change it to black and white in whatever progam ur using, and then add a big background brush texture.
I draw stuff sometimes and it looks like this: (Latest work on page 8)http://forum.sycra.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=76279

Is that so? I was aiming for a more Disney style approach for the first one and a more comic book Marvel-ish style for the second one. Guess it didnt translate very well?

Thank you for the remarks! Forgive my very sloppy lines and blending haha. I have a hard time rendering my drawings.

I think they are both too unfinished for me to feel good answering that. However, I will say that there is nothing really stopping you from doing both, is there?

I mean, if you like both styles, you can do both.

To be brutally honest, I can't see neither Disney nor Marvel :? Might be just me though.
