Hello everyone!
for the last 6 months i have been drawing traditionally and tried some watercolour
then i wanted to give digital painting a shot
i am not entirely happy with these so tell me anything that you think is wrong or i can do better
(i started out with black and white because colors are way too difficult for me now)
thanks in advance :)

you're actually off to a great start man; keep it up! it's hard to believe you're new to digital painting, but i guess the traditional knowledge really carried over well

For being new to digital painting, this is pretty great stuff. It's smart that you started without colour and focused on value. No distractions that way. This is clearly a good medium for you!

Love the point of view you choose in the second one, works very well. Like the others said your very good for a beginner, the traditional experience really helps I guess :D

Dude what are you afraid of... the colored Bogeyman...
You definitely are on you way way with the most difficult part of painting, and that is value. I bet you, you could lay down all sorts of bad, and wrong colors, and still manage to make these pieces look pretty cool, cuz the values are there.
Time to get your hands dirty and dive right on to color. You don't need to be great right away right... so what are you waiting for. Do it. Try and make color layer on those ones and see how it turns out. Then be depressed for a wile and repeat... kidding I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised.

Really like the second one

keep it up

Very nice illustrations there, maybe a tad more midtones, but the range is there! Just do more, and if you are afraid of color, make a colored value study first, stick with a desaturated color with a full range and then...
maybe add another hue or two, even with a limited palette you can make great stuff! Eager to see more of you, cheerS!
