hi! im also a bit of newbie in drawing but i hope my knowledge can help you even a little bit :)

looks like your values are a bit off..its kind of too white for me..i think its because you don't have a defined light source? im seeing highlights from the top of the arms, front of the face and near the neck so im guessing the light is from the top right of the arm and from the front..

its good if you study on light sources..so you can see how the direction of light affects shapes, forms and values of the object your drawing

here is an example if your light source is from the top right near the arms/hands:
as the light source is from the top right you can see that the highlights are seen from the arms and hands and since light actually bounces on surfaces a little bit of light can be seen on the face as well

well hope that helps! if anyone thinks im wrong in my explanation about lights do tell me! cause im here to improve my skills as well :)

BTW nice drawing i really like the concept behnid it hope you can finish this! have a good day and keep on practicing! :)

Thank you.

True i wasn't really thinking of a source of light. I should do that the next time i do a value study.

yea, first thing... always always always decide on your lightsource. if you don't have that in mind... then it would mean that you are just winging it and not really understanding what you are rendering.

Check out this helpful video about it:

That explains most of what I could tell you. In any case... keep up the good work. :)
Look closely. Can you really See?!
