HAHAHHA yeah!
I just begun with it like a week ago.
What he is saying is so true.
Nothing matters, if I can't get the action and basic shapes :(

This is why I prefer to use a psuedo-skeleton for my gestures, I can start with the torso which drives the motion of limbs and then draw the head to match the body, it also changes the feel of the proportions since we measure with the head.

wait a minute.
psuedo?
I googled it. I didn't understand what that meant ^_^
you are definitely right with the head thing. Mine gets to big or to small all the time :/ I might begin from the torso instead :)

I mean a simplified substitute for a skeleton(like the ones I drew in my sketchbook).

Also:
pseu·do [soo-doh]
adjective
1.
not actually but having the appearance of; pretended; false or spurious; sham.
2.
almost, approaching, or trying to be.
