Subject title: Princess

This is a recent collaborative effort between me and Waveloop. The initial goal was to create an attractive female character - we ultimately ended up with this gal. Please give us your critiques!

Biggest flaw imo are the hands. Too small and just... kinda wonky. But it's still a pretty piece and I think you guys were successful in what you set out to do.

Overall not bad, but besides the hands I think there are few other oddities. I think I should be able to see more of her left hip, right now it looks like the back doesn't connect to anything on that side to me. Also, the right arm has some kind of weird transitions in places. Lastly, I don't think the lights on her back would light that much of her back, maybe nothing at all since they are facing away from her body(look at Gears of War pictures).

Anyways, like I said before, it's overall not too shabby. I think the styling of everything is pretty consistent, even the background which is kind of hard to do with comic/cartoon type stuff imo. Overall the lighting is nicely done as well, I like that the brightly lit background is contrasted with the dark foreground, it really highlights the figure's silhouette.

Her head seems to be somewhat awkwardly placed (how her spine bends at her neck) and her ear is too small/too high. You also might want to work on her left elbow a bit, shades/lighting currently make it look too round.
...oh, and her ring could be a bit higher.

it's just the tip of her hear showing... the elbow does look round thanks for the observation. The position of the head is tilted forward because of her posture and attitude, I think we like it like that.

thanks :)

If anyone is interested in seeing the progression of this (or view who did what), go here: http://www.virtueone.com/collab/collab.php?collab_id=1 - it went through about 16 updates. ;)

It,s a good collaberation. But I don't like the lips, they're too heavily outlined, definitely Not luscious, kinda clown-like, and the hands, of course :ugeek:

I like the colors and mood it gives. But is it just me or does her eyes seem too far up her face?
