Subject title: Please critique... and I got a challenge for u!

... So, this is both a critique request, and a challenge for u guys 8-)

I recently got my hands on a hp compaq tc4400. I got it from ebay really cheap (149$), and I have to say... it´s more that I could ever hope for, judging from the price tag and performance... excellent... you really don´t need to spend thousand of dollars and buy a cintiq. At least when your just a hobbyist at my level

So I´ve been messing around with it, getting familiar with photoshop and it´s tools, and I have this piece for you to say whatever you want. help you be cool of course.

It´s in middle stage, I´m a bit tiered of working on it, been at it for 4 hours now... so the challenge is...

since I just began coloring, and still have a lot to learn... please give the poor girl some colors and a background... I would really like to see different styles on coloring mixed with my own... that would be fun

so I´ll post what I have so far, and the lineart for you guys to have fun with if you want

peace

I think a Cintiq would throw me off at this point. It was strange to learn to draw by looking at the screen and not my hand, but now that I'm used to that I don't think I'd ever spend 1-2k on a Cintiq. XD I hear plenty of good stuff about the cheaper Wacom tablets too that are less than 100.

Anyhoo~ This looks good! Only thing that jumps out at me is the lifted leg seems a little long.

Yes it is... But I like to thinking that it is the other leg that is to short ''' :D, It's the problem with not working in full canvas. I was lazy to correct it. And with the perspective of the pose, that mistake didn't bother me... I was anxious to start the painting and dive in on photoshop... I'll do a make over with another theme and correct that. Thanks for the observation though.
But I think your correction is a bit of to... You have to consider the rotation of the pelvis...the upper leg is pushed forward, and your measurement of the lower leg starts a bit low of the coxofemural joint, and the upper it starts on the butt  so I would guess the rigth porpotions are in between, but still closer to yours... The foreleg of the leg on the air on other hand, is to long, and maybe the foot... But whatever I'll make the measurements and correct that, thank you for taking the trouble ;)

I checked your DA page by the way, interesting stuff... You're really disciplined in your work, since I'm completely incapable of that :? I admire instead :D

Cheers

I've never tried coloring somebody's else linework before (unless you count childhood coloring), so I gave it a try. You had a water theme going... so I tried fire . Sorry for the bad quality, but I did it pretty quick.

Yeah it's supouse to be a cool Martial pose, it's not about the up skirt at all... And the pose is about the only thing I like bout it at this point.
