Subject title: How can I fix my Colours?

Hi!
First post here :D
I noticed, that all my paintings lack some sort of kick in the colours. Any ideas on what I could improve?

You could use more temperature variation to make the colors a little less stale, but I think the biggest thing that needs to be looked at is the contrast in value, they are very washed out right now.

I have to second Ambiguity...i did a fast Sketch over your really nice Piece. I like the comp a lot and i think there is just some value issue and not so much a color issue. To resolve this, get some nice shadows in there i probably overdid it with the purple but i guess you get the idea!
