Subject title: Mandilor's Randomness

Really cool to see your painting process. Excellent work, the details really sell it.
My sketchbook. Feedback and crits welcome.

Was looking through your sketchbook, how you read color and value from your references is amazing (even though you probably don't use references anymore). I also like how you use colors when not really being realistic like that in the mountains painting. All that practice with value and landscapes, it really shows. I'm very slow with drawing and painting (beginner) so your uploads look like a mountain of work, too.

(Please don't use the "spoiler" thing anymore, it slows the viewing of your thread a lot for the people who want to see the whole sketchbook.)

P.S. I really liked the stylized mountains here for some reason,

Great sketches all around! Your portrait stuff is on point. I really like the horned girls. I also really like the glyphs you made.
Especially this one :) Image

Keep up the great work!
I too mainly draw girls.

Thanks Bugpal!

Actually I do use reference Kendra, also those stylized mountains you like aren't done by me they're a master study. Unfortunately I don't know who they are done by. Also sure I can stop using the spoilers. I originally used them because I though they make coming back to the sketchbook and seeing new posts easier as they prevent the page from being super long.

Thanks Engell!

Hehe I like that one to Geryes. I was trying to emulate ancient painting style like what you find in caves or old temples. I found that they're at their best when you try and tell a story of sorts. That story is just duck swimming in the water, simple yet awesome.

New piece, this was me trying to figure out how to make some thing look wet.

DAYUM. Those studies really are something special.
It's funny how different your studies are to your sketches.
Both are pretty fine and dandy but your studies definitely outshine your sketches. just like my sketches outshine my studies *Cries painfully*

I was gifted an iPad Pro and apple pencil for Christmas and I've been sketching a lot with it. So here is what I have so far. Quite a lot of these are studies from reference. I've been using procreate, seems to be the most solid app of choice.
