Subject title: My sketchbook ! (Friendo)

Your art looks cool! How can you draw these things without reference? I could never do that, lol

head 2 big? Pose 2 stiff? Looks kinda simulair to the one from yesterday, I'm still trying to get my head around the basics of anatomy. :D

BIRTHDAYPOST: :D
here is the sketchbook page I finished a few days ago but forgot to post.

ALSO: tried some digital painting. with this I am really struggling. dont mind the skin tones, ect in this one, I really tried to focus on the eye itself. both looks very unfinished.

(also idk which kind of line art I like more ;I )
IMG_1033.JPG
kinda a mess, Im trying on keeping the rest of the pages more ordered.
IMG_1036.jpg
think I like the left one more.

tnx man :))

all of these were done during class with no reff, I feel like I'm especially improving on anatomy.

I fricking hate the grill on the left, especially her mouth. I do kinda like the kid and the buff guy.

It's a bit late but welcome to the forums! Nice sketchbook you have here. :D

Your good at shading and making your drawings look "solid." And I like the quality of your line work, what pencil are you using ? It doesn't look like a normal writing/drawing pencil.

You do have some anatomy errors in places, but it's kind of inconsistent. In some places it's great, like the torso of the guy guy with the ax.. In other places it's not so great. like the face of the lady with her eye's closed at the bottom of your sketchbook page. Her facial features look off center in comparison with the direction her head is pointing.

But I'm looking forward to seeing more! Keep it up. :D

tnx for the crits pete! I am using a regular ballpen for allmost every drawing I post here. :D

In this drawing I tried to draw an old doll I used to have, I like the movement in it, but I feel like the hands are fucked up and that the shading is inconsistent(i'll update this post if I fix it.)(i just did).

tried to draw myself using a mirror.

Personally I think I fucked up on the eyes that are to big and the nose that doesn't look centered.

still like it tho :)

tnx Bugpal, I appreciate it.

I mostly draw on A4 paper, and the sketches in the last post are about half to one third page but it varies, a few in my sketchbook fill up a whole a3.

most of my my sketchbook drawings are about this big.
