You character and environment concepts are really taking form...no pun intended. Really great work. :D

I seem to get alot of comments on shapes and stuff...
I cant say I see it as being THAT prevalent but, i guess sorta...
Im really glad that the comments all seem to be positive, but its kinda sad that the few things I "Do well" arent intentional

Doesn't have to be a sad thing, you just naturally have a good eye for it, nothing wrong with that. Have a little more confidence in your work, its good to look at it realistically so you can see where you need to improve, but I think it would be a good idea to be aware of your strengths too, and acknowledge that even if it's not intentional, it's there.

I agree with the others that your shape language is very bold and strong!

I also agree with Spider here - don't be down on yourself about it! Personally, I think it's a great strength of yours that you can create excellent silhouettes without much conscious effort. It's one less thing to worry about when creating characters, yeah? :)

Your sketching style is also very recognizable. Very loose and expressive, yet clear, probably because of the slight shading you tend to do. Reminds me of Bridgman in a way!

Really awesome looking sketchbook you have here. Your figures have a lot of gesture to them and i like your sense of volume and perspective. Looking forward to seeing more, and the only thing i would suggest is to work using less lines. Keep up the great work!
I too mainly draw girls.

thanks geryes, and by less lines, do you mean it would be good to get out of my comfort zone, or that it doesn't work, in terms of readability and appeal?

Steele on :o I'm super glad u think it's working. It's been my goal, to learn how to paint the way I draw so if it looks nice Ive succeeded!.

Not happy with the face, it was from reference which I don't do a lot of.
I dunno. But painting practice!

You have very expressive work, I like the figures very much and they way you built them, many messy lines that eventually become order when they describe something.
