Thanks for making stuff and sharing it with us, it's a real treat.

Thanks! Getting nice comments like that makes my day.

As for my style goals.. It's funny, my favorite artists are probably Jim Woodring (link) and Bill Watterson, who both use mainly ink. I'm actually mostly drawn to simple-ish drawings that depict a unique living world. Same reason I love Studio Ghibli. Which is nothing like what I usually do lately, which is portraits and studies mostly.

But something clicked fairly recently... I guess I always thought "I should do more studies", but once I started improving a bit with them I started really believing that a knowledge of value and likeness would improve my cartoons, or whatever. So... the style I end up with might be a lot closer to those artists I look up to than my stuff currently.

@Nymzo Thanks, looks like the inner toon has been unleashed. I don't know, this is a bit tamer than what I set out to do....

I friggin' looove those random three-dimensional forms you've been doing. It's a great exercise, and seeing you do it has inspired me to give it a go more often. Also, I'm totally envious of those slightly-upshot-face drawings, because that's something I feel like I can *never* get right.

@DRaff210 Wow, thanks, I'm glad they inspired you to try some of your own. I think it probably helps. After drawing pages of freehand geometry my perception feels noticeably different, like I'm breaking things down into parts more. And yeah, face upshots can be tricky for me too so I'm glad you think they look alright!

I've been feeling like my ideas have dried up for the last few days, so... I'm open to ideas/suggestions of what to draw from anyone. I'll probably draw the first thing that gets suggested.

I'm so uninspired lately. I'm thinking of doing Istebrak's challenge just for some structure.
