I very very like the studies of skeleton! You have nice feeling of form in your drawings, especially the simplified gestures!
Your gestures are also nice! I love the flow in this one
Keep it up!

Thanks a lot Koźlik! I really fell in love with brush tip markers, that really help with getting a "flowy" feel. ^^!!

And yeah, about art school: if you really think it'll help springboard you into becoming the artist you want to be, then go for it. However, as someone who went to a design-related school (video game design), I can personally say that the experience wasn't worth it - I wish I'd known that the skill you can gain from getting a degree in a creative field can also be gained completely on your own with the right motivation. Sure, there were networking opportunities and stuff, but it definitely was not worth the dent in my wallet, IMO.
Not trying to dissuade you, but thought maybe I'd chip in on that end. Ultimately, though, do what you think is best.

Thanks, your advice really helped out a lot, I don't know what I was thinking using a white background previously

Yeah I totally agree with everything you're saying. Me wanting to attend art school was a fairly recent flip flop of mine ( a week ago haha). My parents use to want me to go and I would avidly tell them "Art school isn't worth it, it's super expensive and I can basically learn everything on my own!" It's still something I tell other people, I guess what draws me in now is the sense of community, the teachers, the work they put out and being around so many creative people. My high school was an art school (a bit different we had majors and such and I was a visual art major), so I am sooo used to being around other art students and I basically lost all of my connections since then (I graduated in 2014).
I feel like this is a pretty chill community so I'll be frank with you. This is my situation, after HS the next year during 2015 I basically working all year trying to figure out what to do. This year I started school in another state in August (degree unrelated to art), but had to come back home because of wonky reasons. So I was back home near the end of September and October was when I figured I should start doing something with my art. I was Finding all of these tutorials (watching all of sinix videos, yeah I'm guilty xD) and pushing myself to get better. Which leads to now, I'm unemployed (looking for work), no bills to pay, no friends xD, and I'm at home everyday just drawing, so I guess I'm kind of lonely

. Teaching myself these past few months has been a great experience and I have become much more confident in my abilities. Since it is super competitive to even get into ACCD, I just thought I would give it a shot and plus I really like it. Hopefully I can visit and take a tour. When I told my mom she just looked at me with this blank expression and said, "aren't you the one that always told me art school not even worth it?"
Most of the portfolios that make it into ACCD look professional already to me, so what I was thinking of doing is take the time to improve my skills and create an amazing portfolio. Since it's soooo expensive I would send it to Art center and if accepted see if they'll offer a nice amount in scholarships and if not just send my portfolio off to companies. That's pretty much the plan atm and I think it's a win-win scenario. Thanks a lot for the good advice as usual though

!
I got a little bored with drawing boxes and took a small break. I decided to work my creativity a bit and try my hand at doing some of those really neat looking silhouette concept sketches. The first page was me looking for cool shapes and the second one I picked a subject and made 20 variations of it. The last page I was looking at some snails, trying to make some variations, and then snail men happened.
