Subject title: tiagoplaza's sketchbook

finally had enough time to complete this today. had to rework the legs and struggled mightily with the colors but still enjoyed the whole process. also learned a lot about layer modes and how crucial clean linework really is.

another drawing off of the same fig sketches i made a couple of days earlier.

Image

this one's actually incomplete since i got stumped by the colors. like most of the stuff i post here, i'm still not sure if i'll ever get to complete this.

Lovely work tiago, the newest one is looking pretty :D Maybe try some more dynamic posing though? A lot of your figures are just standing there static, as lovely as they are it gets a bit tedious xD

really appreciate the feedback neso! i've been pretty fixated on static poses lately so the thought of drawing more dynamic looking figures never crossed my mind. :?

also, i only get to work on these like an hour or two a day so i usually just prioritize the stuff that doesn't involve any mental gymnastics. with that said, i did start start sketching/drawing figures with more dynamic poses.

Image

continuation of my work last time. only allotted around 30 or so minutes for cleaning up the linework (which is still far from clean) and laying down the a color for masking later on.

Image

bulk of my time was spent drawing these. found some stock photos on deviantart and just started sketching away. hopefully, i get to work on these by this week (or maybe next).

thanks for the encouragement, Kaique. still not confident with my color choices when i made that though it is marginally better than the stuff i did before.

anyway, here's something i made today.

Image

struggled with the gun on this drawing even though i was staring at the reference the whole time.

Fantastic work on those digital pieces. The colors are lovely and I'm really digging those sleek armor designs. I particularly like the breastplate on this girl: http://i.imgur.com/V6uHUnf.jpg?1 Excellent work, please keep it up and post more soon!!

finally managed to get my tablet to work on clip studio paint so i did a little sketch to celebrate.

Image

still not used to the brushes and pencils but I think they're a little better than PS's (at least for the style that I'd like to work on).

hey, thanks for the compliments! yeah, that was from reference. a lot of the stuff i'm doing right now are usually from reference since i'm still not that confident with my visual library.

here's a set of sketches that are also from reference.
