Whoah those sillouhettes look great! super interesting, that's for sure!
It kind of reminds me of painting with chinese ink and a paint brush!

I really like the progress I'm seeing here! One thing I'd like to ask is how often do you practice head construction? Your anatomy of the body has greatly improved from what I've seen, but if you really wanna add more character to your designs, I'd like to see some expression on those faces. ;)

loose sketches/scribbles.

I noticed i've only been biting what i can chew, i haven't been studying, and i lost pretty much half of this year because i'd crash and then burry myself in games.

I'm not happy at all with my art, since i noticed that im doing the same poses/angles over and over again. If i wanna think about design or whatever else my mind pretty much "switches resources" and i do the lamest figure/pose that i can handle and then focus on whatever else is the focus, because i refuse to use reference while doing sketches.

I don't think im getting it rough, if anything everything allows me to do whatever i want now but im still crippled and im feeling pretty frustrated @myself man -_- i hate how apologetic and lazy i've become, im going to do something about this.

First time seeing your sketchbook, your progress has been awesome. (I'm slightly jealous.) Your figures nicely fluid and curvey. Are you using a particular learning resource?

And non of these where drawn with a reference?! I'm even more jealous. Is there a particular reason why you refuse to use them?

Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself, look how far you've come! You can push through.
What are you doing? Stop browsing the forum and get drawing.

About the learning resource, i mostly use vilppu for figures, i wen't over drawabox for forms, used marshall for perspective, now using steve huston for heads, and for anatomy i've used bridgman, elioth goldfinger, proko and a bit of rey bustos.

And reference.. im just stubborn, i usually study the reference then i put it down and do the illustration, but its dumb and inefficient, i can't learn about every single thing, its a habbit i want to change but it feels like cheating so i never do it

thanks for passing by and commenting <3

Really pretty leaves on that last pic =). The other plant is cool too, although I feel like it should be more cylindrical, and the part of the mouth should be wider than the rest, more like a cone ^^
