Hi I'm Fedo, been taking this seriously for about half a year now

I do a lot of studies and have an OK knowledge of fundamentals,

My strong points are drawing, like anatomy and portraits IMO

I'm not great at lighting and color, but i can help with some things

I'm not professional, but i can help any who see me worth

My skype name is Ken Selwonk

im on all day hmu

Before asking me for help, make a sketchbook thread on the forum and link me to it so i know where you're at!

If you are a beginner, and don't know where to start, here are some great ways to start learning fundamentals for art;

Gobble this book up!

Gesture: do these everyday for at least fifteen minutes, you'll see improvement quickly!

you can do gesture drawings on these sites after watching the above video

drawing the face and head:

Proko also covers all the features of the face, and they are covered in the hampton book!

if you feel pretty comfortable with these things, start to learn light and form
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3WmrWUEIJo (proko)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q-LZVFZuGE (sycras series on light)

Do black and white (or monochromatic, being just one color) studies of a photograph, either on pencil (charcoal pastels etc.) or whatever software for art you have; do a lot of them! once you start nailing the values, it will get exciting and people you know may be impressed!

DO NOT try color right away, it will look a mess if you don't understand lighting and form, BLACK AND WHITE FIRST!

Try to spend at least 300 hours total on black and white studies, before even attempting color studies, this will give you a MUCH easier time understanding lighting. I know it sounds like a lot, but if the more hours you put in, the faster you'll get there. The students at Feng Zhu's design academy spend 6 months on only black and white before attempting color, drawing all day!

For getting up the discipline to practice, well that's different for everyone; Check out Bobby Chiu's youtube videos and livestreams, he is fun and motivational! :D :) ;) :( :o  :? 8-)

Also the book, "the natural way to draw" by kimon nicolaides is a beautiful book on how to become disciplined for study, but not passionate; passion is something that is internal and can't be learned.

If you understand all these things, you probably don't need my help and are an intermediate level artist; if so, good for you! KEEP GOING!

I've gotten some pretty good materials that I want to go through before I try and lump all my curiosities onto you xD. However I would enjoy an outside opion from a higher leveled player. :D
