Subject title: Need a Mentor!

I've been drawing ever since I was a kid, but it was always for fun. I'd see a cool picture and sit down for 5 hours and try to copy it. Now, I would like to be able to move away from 'copying' and learn the proper ways. I have an interest in learning manga style, anatomy, whatever I need. Although all my copies have been well done, im Considering myself a level 1.

Hellu i have the same problem. My copies look well but when i draw from imagination my mind went blank. We both need to draw more often from imagination and build up a visual library. I´d like to mentor u but i can´t because i think my art level isn´t high enough to teach u properly i think i would need a year or so to be statisfied with my doodles. I just can offer u to be an art buddy- hope u will find ur mentor soon.
3. Semester now specialise on your strenght... but on what if there are so many? I guess it´s illustration for now.
