Subject title: How to exchange?

I do have a very small money pocket and it seems like the moth in there are eating up ma money too fast. I don´t have many friends with the same interest in art nearby to go out with but I need to exchange with some other artist. I need input because i end up with getting fed up doing stuff solely on my own.
I want to know if anybody here has found an art buddy or a mentor succesfully and how do you exchange? Skype, mailing, chatting anything else?
What´s the coolest thing you can think of to doing together? Please tell me i would be glad to see.
3. Semester now specialise on your strenght... but on what if there are so many? I guess it´s illustration for now.

i am currently mentoring a guy from this forum, we talk via skype, and the thing is kinda easy, i start by using basic excercises and then critiquing his work to see what needs to improve and working on those weaknesses....

Sometimes the forum members meet up on Google Hangouts, there's a link to the group here:

The bad thing is that my laptop always broke when there is a bigger group... 4 people hanging out? and bye bye... Not with my lap... which makes me sad and want to buy a new machine but not having the money for it... Maybe i should rob a bank... nope just kidding :D I wish the sycra community will grow and attract more awesome artist to hangout with. See ya maybe in hangout.

Yeah I had that problem with my old WinXP desktop, TBH I think it's partially Google's fault, Google+ is laggy even on my newer laptop. We used to have a lot more people hanging out, at one point we were having to meet in multiple rooms, don't know what happened to everyone.

I think we had like 8 people today at one point, and it wasn't even lagging. Weirdly enought ... cuz google hangout is anything but stable.
