Subject title: hello im looking for a mentor or someone just to draw with

im not terrible but it seems i never get better im looking for somone to just hang out with and help me a little, i have looked at guides and whatnot but its really hard for me to learn reading pages of nonsense

I also have never completed a painting/drawing...i have no idea why everytime i try it just turns out bad

I have the same problem butsomething I've noticed is that sometimes it can be fixed by adding some shadowing or texture so that you'll get the feeling of surface and shape, not just lines. You should atleast try it if you haven't already :)
